Trip Closing

The final step in the Scheduling and Dispatch process is closing out a trip, and turning proposed data into historical data. FltOps automatically fills in the Flight Log Editor with all of the proposed trip details from the Trip Editor to minimize data entry. Once proposed times and flight times are updated with actual times and flight times, FltOps automatically:

• creates/updates duty records
• updates commercial flight time totals
• updates landing currency
• updates the total airframe hours and cycles of the aircraft
• updates every inspection and component on the aircraft (with the optional Aircraft Maintenance Tracking module)
• makes all historical data, such as passenger flight activity, etc, available to the optional Report Writer
