Desktop vs. Hosted
FltOps can either be installed on your computers or may be run via the Internet on our server in a secure datacenter on a subscription basis.
FltOps Desktop
FltOps Desktop is FltOps installed on your computer(s), in either a stand alone configuration or on your server in your local area network (LAN). FltOps runs on any Windows server or workstation OS in any Windows compatible network, and the multi-user configuration supports an unlimited number of concurrent users. FltOps Desktop is a good choice for companies with employees in one location or companies that have a well managed IT infrastructure.
License fees are one time and are based on optional modules and the number of users that need to access FltOps. Contract support is included for the first year and is available as an option in subsequent years.
FltOps Hosted
FltOps Hosted is FltOps installed on one of our Windows 2003 servers.You and your colleagues access FltOps via the Internet and the Microsoft Remote Desktop client, which is a standard feature of Windows XP. FltOps Hosted is a good choice for companies with employees that work at multiple locations and do not have a substantial investment in an IT infrastructure.
Our servers are located in secure datacenters with redundant Tier 1 Internet connections, on-site backup electricity, and excellent bandwidth. Data is backed up daily. It all adds up to excellent uptime, accessibility, and data integrity.
There is no large up-front fee. License fees are monthly and are based on optional modules and the number of users that need to access FltOps.
