Background

Essential Air Group, Inc. was founded in 1996 to develop software for the U.S. Part 135 market segment. The perceived market need was a software package that simplified compliance record keeping, much as accounting software manages financial record keeping.

Beta testing began with 3 U.S. based Part 135 carriers in June 1997 and was completed in October 1997, resulting in the first commercial release of FltOps in 1997.

FltOps has evolved almost entirely from the feedback of our user community, which consists of approximatey 100 commericial and business flight operations around the world.
